We stayed at this hotel from March 16 to 24. Booked through booking with payment on-site. There were no deposits or extra charges. We didn't have breakfast, but our neighbors praised it, especially at 7 in the morning) The hotel is high up the hill! We stayed high up, so we were either driven by Caddy Boy on a Caddy Car or took 2 elevators + walked up and down. We left tips for the cleaning lady and the Caddy. The room with a pool is big and spacious, the pool is clean, excellent. When it's already hot at the sea, just walk and dive in 👍👍👍 It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach (you can take two routes). The bed is hard, pillows too. In the photo - they make delicious pizza here. The entrance is up the stairs.
Upon return, it is possible to draw some conclusions about the hotel. Seeing the sea from the window is great, not having to walk far to the room - great. But it's noisy. However, if you prefer silence, you should go higher up. The hotel's location is amazing if you want quick access to two beaches and all the local action. Kata Noi is excellent!
The service was excellent. The rooms are spacious, and the Wi-Fi works well. The only downside for us was the bed - although it was large, there was only one for the whole family. The beach was nice, but during periods of rough waters, algae and dirt would wash up. We preferred Kata Noi beach, where it was always clean and peaceful with fewer people.
Thank you very much, is Katya Noy nearby?
Fifteen minutes uphill on foot)
The hotel is great, the rooms are very decent. Cleaning is normal, bathroom supplies are regularly replenished, it is advisable to go for breakfast early in the morning! We always came at 9 o'clock and it was already so-so, meager and not neat. And on the day of departure, we arrived right at the opening, it turns out that the breakfasts at this hotel are good! Everything is neat and clean, with a lot of choices, you just need to get up earlier))) The waterfalls are turned off after 5 pm, they are turned on at 11 am. I liked that the hotel is located on a hill, away from all the hustle and bustle and noise, while being close to the beach. There were no problems with walking, we were with a 6-year-old child. Nearby there is a Russian restaurant Gagarin, it is very tasty there! Nearby is a jewelry shop 😍 I recommend this hotel for a budget and good vacation. I didn't like Kata and Kata Noi beaches, my favorite is Karon. We took a taxi to it for 150-200 baht.
We have room 1503 right above these waterfalls, they turn on in the middle of the night several times! The noise is as loud as being next to a real waterfall! I can't sleep, at three in the morning I get up and go to the balcony and sit there until five, until I can drift back to sleep. The breakfast is the worst we have tried in 20 years, 12 countries, and 9 times in Thailand. It's just some meager and very modest misunderstanding! The hotel is poor, only liked by those who have not tried anything sweeter than a turnip. We are there right now.
We lived in room 1506 from January 25th to February 6th. I am telling you as it is and as it was during my stay. Apparently you were unlucky.
Hello, experienced guests of this hotel! It's my first day here. Can you tell me, do they turn off these waterfalls at night? And when do they turn them off? We were exhausted after the flight, went to bed early, but the sound of water rushing was still coming through the windows. I went to the reception with this question, the lady nodded and started making some calls. But I didn't get an answer. It seemed like it worked, as the waterfalls were turned off. But they turned back on at 3 am. The noise was unbearable. I went to the administration because of this noise. The response was: "Sorry, we can't do anything about it, oink-oink!"
We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights in July. We liked the hotel, the staff was polite, the breakfasts were filling, the room was clean. We didn't use the pool as we only swam in the sea anyway.
Did you swim in the nearby sea? How is the nearest beach there? Which coast is it?
We swam at Kata Beach, it's a 5-minute walk to the beach.
Hello. We are currently staying at this hotel. The hotel is located on a quite steep hill. There are several buildings on different levels. The hotel does not have any walking areas. There are a couple of public pools on different levels, one above the other. They did not take a deposit upon check-in. The breakfasts are okay, but quite monotonous. Our room has a semi-private pool on the 9th floor. The room is spacious. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. Bathrobes, slippers, shower gels/shampoos, and umbrellas are provided. From our room, we have a view of the pool and the adjacent building. However, if you go out to the terrace by the pool, you can see a small part of the sea and the entire street behind the beach.
We have stayed at this hotel three times, both before and after COVID, and we will continue to stay there in the future. All the rooms have a sea view... There is a fantastic cascade of pools. Several elevators are available as the hotel is built in tiers on a hill. The breakfast options are diverse. The staff is friendly, and the cleaning is good. There are shops, fruit stalls, massage salons, and everything you need, all within a 3-minute walk from the hotel... Despite this, there is no noise from the road, and it is very quiet, with only birds chirping and geckos making noise. There is a small parking lot in front of and behind the lobby for bikes and cars. We really love this hotel.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes.
We were at the end of July. The hotel was nice and clean. We stayed on the 8th or 9th floor, I don't remember exactly. The room had a jacuzzi. Tip: make sure to turn on the jacuzzi in advance and clean it with chlorin.
And do you remember the room number?) The view is amazing 🌅
I'm not exactly sure, maybe it was in 1907, he was on the left side of the elevator.
This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and we really like it: the rooms are cleaned well every day, the breakfasts are tasty and European. It's clear that the rooms are slightly worn, but very clean and cozy. We had room 1802, a standard room. Everything is nearby, although there is a steep hill to climb, which shouldn't be a problem for young people. It's an honest 5-minute walk to the sea. It definitely lives up to its 4-star rating. 👌

Please tell me, do the rooms have an iron?
Seems like no.
Hello. Is there anything for children in this hotel? And is it worth going there with a 3-year-old child?
For children, there is nothing there. And even have to climb uphill.
Has anyone stayed in a room with a pool? Is it worth it, or just a blooming swamp?
Did not stop, but saw these rooms, because it's the second time at the hotel. The first floor is nonexistent, all the others are okay - but it's better to stay on the first block, the sun beats down heavily on the balconies of the upper blocks, making it impossible to go out during the day. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, ten minutes at a leisurely pace))
Please recommend a café where you can eat near the hotel or where you simply enjoyed your meal.
Gagarin Restaurant serves Russian cuisine. In the evenings, we also used to go to the market nearby. And a little further there is Coconut Cafe, if I remember the name correctly.
Gagarin is excellent! It's really chic in contrast to all the dives that are run by the Thais themselves and, forgive me, Europeans. Normal cuisine, there is a part under air conditioners, waiters smile intensively, the toilet is decent, not the same as everywhere.
We liked Chai Thaifood, but it is not close to the hotel. When we went to mini BigC and 7/11 for souvenirs and beer, we always stopped at this restaurant. Here, as everywhere, the rule applies: "the further from the sea, the cheaper".
Is there a deposit at the hotel?
Not taken in October
How do you find the hotel as a whole, the food, the room, and the service? How about the beach?
In my opinion, the food is monotonous and lacking. However, it's suitable for breakfast, you can always find something for yourself. You definitely won't be left hungry.
I have booked a room with pool access. Did I understand correctly that these rooms are on the lower level of the hotel?
Rooms with access to the pool, even on the highest floors. We stayed on the fourth floor, and there was one pool for every three rooms.
